Understanding Lingo
Volts: Imagine a garden hose, Volts is like the Pressure the water comes out.
Ah: (Amp Hours) Its like the capacity of a barrel, 100ah is like 100 Gallons of water, 17ah is like 17 Gallons of water.
Watts, Is the combination of Volts and Ah. Volts x Ah = Watts
Charge Capacity: The amount of Watts the battery can hold
Surge watts: The Initial jump an appliance will pull when starting. A refrigerator runs at average 200 watts, But may need up to 400 watts for a brief moment to start.
Running watts: The amount of watts a appliance needs to maintain standard operations.
Cycle Life: How many times you can discharge the battery to 0 and recharge it to 100% before it is completely dead. The lower batteries are discharged to before recharging the more damage occurs. So if possible try and recharge batteries when they get to around 40% to extend battery life.
